EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL - The Edinburgh Festival is the largest performing arts festivals in the world. Each year Teamwork showcases the best of Indian contemporary, Classical and traditional performing arts across a host of venues. Over 300 artistes have performed for approx 1 million viewers in the past four years with wide spread press coverage. The festival is presented in association with the British Council India, Visiting Arts UK, Ministry of Tourism India, and Ministry of External Affairs – India, Scottish Trade Mission and others.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES ARTS FESTIVAL – MANCHESTER – Teamwork presented a host of contemporary work at the Commonwealth Games – Spirit of Friendship festival in Manchester.

INDIAN SUMMER – LONDON - Teamwork created a summer season with performing arts, film, fashion and food which was seen to be the torch bearer of the India craze in the UK

THE FESTIVAL OF THE GREAT ARC (JULY – DECEMBER 2003)

Teamwork Films produced ‘THE GREAT ARC EXHIBITION' in the UK in 2003 celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Great Trigonometrical Survey (GTS) that was conceived by William Lambton. The Festival toured London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Cambridge.

A spectacular cultural and performing arts program to celebrate the FESTIVAL OF THE GREAT ARC showcased performances by the maestros in music and dance. 800,000 people viewed the performances and exhibition across a six month program in association with the Indian High Commission, British Council, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Theatre, riverside studios, The Edinburgh International Festival, Birmingham Science Centre, Cambridge University and The Royal Geographical Society

Some of the featured acts are The Cheraw (bamboo) dancers from Mizoram regaling audiences from across the world at the famed Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. Surupa Sen & Bijayini Satpathy of the Nrityagram Dance Ensemble, Aditi Mangaldas Daksha Sheth, Indian Ocean, Mrigya, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Shruti Sadolikar, Birju Maharaj, Radha Raja Reddy, Malavika Sarukkai, Shivaji Ganesh, and Shahrukh Khan.







YEH HAI MUMBAI MERI JAAN (UK 2002 & 2003)

TThe world premiere of Sohaila Kapoor’s stunning Bollywood based musical “Yeh Hain Mumbai Meri Jaan”, Directed by Sanjoy Roy and Produced by Teamwork enjoyed a world premier at at the prestigious Traverse Theatre during the Edinburgh festival in August 2002 and was awarded the Bank of Scotland Herald Devil award for Spirit of the Festival.

In 2003 the production played at numerous cities in the UK in the Belfast, Crawley, Birmingham, Manchester and South Hampton. The Tour ran to packed houses and received an overwhelming response. The Production also performed at Esplanade Theatre in Singapore.
